Family & Carer Support
Supporting the people who support others.
Caring for a loved one can be rewarding, but it can also be emotionally demanding, stressful, and overwhelming at times. Whether you are supporting a family member with a disability, mental health condition, Autism, ADHD, or other complex needs, it is important that your own wellbeing is supported too.
At Your Positive Path, we provide family and carer support services that help individuals, families, and support networks navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and build practical strategies for everyday life.
We support NDIS participants, families, carers, and private clients across Melbourne and Australia through telehealth services.
Supporting Families
Helping Families Navigate Life's Challenges Together
Mental health concerns, disability, behavioural challenges, and major life changes can affect the entire family. Family members often experience stress, uncertainty, communication difficulties, and emotional fatigue while trying to support someone they care about.

Supporting Carers
Caring for Yourself While Caring for Others
Many carers spend so much time focusing on the needs of others that they neglect their own wellbeing.
Over time, caring responsibilities can contribute to stress, burnout, social isolation, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion. Seeking support is not a sign of weakness—it is an important part of maintaining your own health and capacity to continue providing care.

- Not mediation. We're not here to reach a legal agreement or divide things up. We're here to improve relationships and communication.
- Not a blame session. We don't identify one person as "the problem." Family patterns involve everyone.
- Not mandatory agreement. Family members can have different views and still benefit. The goal is understanding, not consensus.
- Not just for crisis. Many families use it to prevent things from deteriorating further, not just to repair what's already broken.
